Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor, non-consensual and offender less than 4 years older than victim, not previously convicted of 2907.02, 2907.03, or 2907.04, or former 2907.12 (FSP)** Tier 3 offenders are subject to the neighbor/community notification provision which includes all residents within a 1,000 feet radius of where the offender is residing. TIER 3: Offenders designated as a Tier 3 Offender are subject to registration/verification requirements every 90 days for life. These offenders are not subject to neighborhood/community notification. TIER 2: Offenders is subject to registration/verification requirements every 180 days (six months) for a period of 25 years following their initial registration. TIER 1: Offenders is subject to the registration/verification requirements annually for a period of 15 years following their initial registration. Community notification will occur with every sexual predator. The Sheriff’s Office will also require a vehicle license plate number, and will also verify the home address of an offender within three days of registering with this office. Sexual Predators must register with this office every 90 days for life. SEXUAL PREDATOR: Any person who has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to committing a sexually oriented offense and is likely to engage in the future in one or more sexually oriented offenses. If a judge so rules, community notification may occur. Habitual Sex Offenders must register with this office twice a year for 20 years. HABITUAL SEXUAL OFFENDER: Any person who is convicted of or pleads guilty to a sexually oriented offense and who previously has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to one or more sexually oriented offenses. Sex offenders must register with this office once a year for ten years. Some other offenses include kidnapping, abduction, unlawful restraint, criminal child enticement, corruption of a minor, compelling prostitution, endangering children (victim under 18 years of age), pandering obscenity, minor pandering sexually oriented material, illegal use of minor in nudity-oriented material/perform. SEXUAL ORIENTED OFFENDER: Anyone convicted of or pleads guilty to committing a sexually oriented offense as defined in Ohio Revised Code number 2907.01, which includes rape, sexual battery, gross sexual imposition, regardless of the age of the victim. It is ordered that a special mandate issue out of this court directing the lower court to carry this judgment into execution.Ī certified copy of this entry shall constitute the mandate pursuant to Rule 27 of the Rules of Appellate Procedure.We feel it is important for the citizens to understand the above classifications.
